Roy Bonin Jr. is a Colorado Springs native and REALTOR® with The PowerHouse Team, brokered by eXp Realty. Having grown up in Colorado Springs and Fountain, Roy brings more than real estate knowledge to his clients—he brings a lifetime of familiarity with the communities, neighborhoods, and people that make the Pikes Peak region home.
Before real estate, Roy worked in industries where communication, problem-solving, and staying calm when things don’t go according to plan mattered. That experience still shapes how he works today. He believes clients deserve straight answers, useful information, and someone willing to take the time to understand what they’re actually trying to accomplish—not pressure them into a decision.
Roy works with buyers and sellers throughout the Colorado Springs area, with a particular connection to military families and those navigating moves to and from the Pikes Peak region. While Roy did not serve in the military himself, military service runs deep in both his and his wife’s families. That connection continues through his involvement with the local veteran and military community, including serving as an Ambassador with Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center.
Community involvement is an important part of Roy’s life beyond real estate. From supporting local veteran organizations to helping organize community events and donation efforts such as Share the Warmth, he believes being part of a community means showing up for it.
Roy is a husband, dad, rescue-dog owner, and someone who believes relationships shouldn’t end at the closing table.
For Roy, real estate is ultimately about helping people make informed decisions about home, community, and what’s next.
